The 116th Air Control Wing (116 ACW) was the first United States Air Force wing "blended" from active duty and Air National Guard airmen. Designated as such on October 1, 2002 following the blending of the active duty 93d Air Control Wing (ACW) and the ANG 116th Bomb Wing (BW) at Robins AFB, Georgia. Flies the E-8 Joint STARS aircraft.
