The 116th Street Crew was a powerful Mafia crew based in the East Harlem section of Manhattan. The crew was in existence from the founding of New York's five families and remained a force within the larger Genovese crime family until the early-1990s when the crew's leaders moved it base of operations out of the then-Hispanic area into the Bronx.
