ABC In Concert was a television program which premiered on September 21, 1972, as part of ABC network's Friday night Wide World of Entertainment programming. Alice Cooper appeared on that first episode. Created by Don Kirshner, the show was a 90 minute showcase for bands of the era to be filmed "in concert" and broadcast on ABC.
