Abengourou is a city in the east of Côte d'Ivoire, near the Ghanian border at . The city is primarily populated by the Agni ethnic group, a branch of the Akan people who migrated to the region from Ghana. The population of Abengourou was estimated to be 105,000 people in 2004.
