All Empires (or AE) is an online history community founded in 2001 as an academic venture by Cyrus Shahmiri, who is from Iran. It was first created as a forum for the discussion of Iranian history but later expanded, as it got more popular, with the help of history teachers, writers and enthusiasts to promote historical knowledge. As a web community for world history, AE has grown to be a popular online forum with a diverse international audience and membership.
