"All Through the Night" was the fourth commercially released solo single by singer Cyndi Lauper. It's noted for being one of the few Lauper singles not to have a videoclip released for it, since the record company wanted to know whether the singer could have a hit without one. It is still considered by many to be a classic of the era and continues to be covered by a variety of artists as recently as a June 2005 version by singer Tori Amos.
