Allithwaite is a small village, located roughly 1.2 miles from the nearby town of Grange-over-Sands. The population is around 2000 people, most which commute to local areas of Ulverston, Kendal or Lancaster to work. A community centre, two pubs, a Christian holiday centre, and nursing home are among the local job providers in Allithwaite.
