Amasa Mason Lyman (March 30, 1813–February 4, 1877) (commonly known as Amasa M. Lyman) born in Lyman, New Hampshire, was an early leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a counselor in the First Presidency under Joseph Smith, Jr., and later an Apostle, filling a place in the Quorum of the Twelve that had been temporarily vacated by Orson Pratt.
