Definitions for "Amateur athlete"
Any athlete who does not get paid for playing a sport.
An individual who is registered as a USA DanceSport Amateur Athlete and who meets the eligibility criteria for Amateur Athletes as described in the Rules for Competitors section of USA DanceSport Rulebook.
