An aqueous coating roller that has a surface containing honeycomb-type cells that accept and hold the coating in place until it is transferred to the press sheet. This type of surface eradicates uneven coating levels across the press sheet experienced in normal flood-coating systems. BOPI uses Anilox rollers exclusively.
