Attunements are a technique common to all forms of Reiki in the west. They use a process of placing the Reiki Symbols and energy into the meridians, aura or energy body of the recipient of the Attunement process. Some Attunement systems focus on placing the energy in the Chakras. Attunements empower people to use Reiki on themselves and others and facilitate a connection to the Reiki source.
