Definitions for "Bordeaux"
A full-bodied red wine usually made from a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes.
White Bordeaux: a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and sometimes Muscadelle. Red Bordeaux: a blend of varying ratios of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Sometimes Petit Verdot and Malbec as well.
