Commentaries are books written by Bible scholars who take the bible in a verse by verse, chapter by chapter manner and give explanation. These are handy to get another opinion, but we ask that you don't go straight to concordances for your answer. God has promised his Holy Spirit, and if we go straight to concordances without seeking the Lord in our questions, we are short-circuiting God's provision.
