Definitions for "Eversea"
An artificial world, named after its large ocean. The scale of Eversea is much larger than Earth. There are MANY continents scattered about in the ocean. The sentient beings now inhabiting Eversea reached Eversea by mistake from a conventional planet. The creators of Eversea are unknown. Eversea is not in orbit around a star, but it is in a region of space with many stars, the closest of which provide substantial sunlight. The surface gravity of Eversea is lower than that of planets that are able to retain an atmosphere and support air-breathing life. There is no protection from asteroid impacts, and during the history of Eversea there have been huge asteroid impacts, but Eversea is so large that the ecology continues to evolve. There was Eversea life that existed before the arrival of the current sentient residents. There is a reasonably good biochemical match between the local life forms and the the life forms that came from off of Eversea. (source: PrologueIdea)
