An alleged industrial town in the east of Flanders that is said to be the home of Belgian hard spirits but that noone I have met has ever been to.

Hasselt is a town about 7 km north of Zwolle, in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It received city rights in 1252. It became a member of the Hanseatic League around 1350.
