A method of fixing components together. A part of one component is inserted into a hole in the other and the excess metal is spread out and flattened to fix them together firmly.
Securely fastened to a surface using a small, metal pin with a larger head on one end. The shank of the pin is passed through holes in both items to be fastened, then the plain end is pressed to form a second head that cannot be withdrawn through the hole.
