The Tinya is a percussion instrument like a small manual made drum of leather. It has a big diffusion in the Andean ambience and it is touched – fundamentally for women – with a ramrod, in dances and ceremonies referred to the rural life, especially during the epochs of crops and bearing of the cattle.
