Valerie Krupp (Valerie Buck-Krupp) was the 2000 Bronze Medalist for the International Sled Dog Racing Association in the 6 dog Sprint Class (Sled Dog Racing, Mushing). She was the first and only modern sprint racer to win an ISDRA medal with an AKC registered team. Racing for the Slapshot Siberians Kennel, which was owned by husband-to-be NHL player Uwe Krupp, the newcomer stunned veterans by winning the medal behind a team of AKC Registered Siberian Huskies in her third season of racing.
