Now once again sharing a world with their Grimlahdi brethren, these giant, quick-to-anger reptiloids are a fierce, proud and stubborn bunch. Imagine an Ungstiri with much thicker skin, claws, teeth, and a fondness for toilet water spritzed with the blood of a rat. Centuries ago, fleeing subjugation by the Nall, they made a home in caverns on Mars. Then humans came and tried to terraform the planet - and so began the Human-Zangali War, complete with an army of cloned Specialists that never quite managed to drive the Zangali away. But when the Nall declared independence and amnesty for the worlds under their sway in 2651, many Zangali began moving back to their homeworld of Grimlahd. Then came the Kretonians, smashing through known space. Then, after the Kretonians were eradicated and civilization began to rebound - Mars was ultimately terraformed in the absence of the Zangali.
