American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Represents radio artists and news broadcasters, and, in earlier times, television performers. In more recent times, however, television performers may be represented by either AFTRA or SAG, depending on the producer's contract. Discussions about merging the two organizations have been ongoing for several decades; recently the Television & Film and Commercial Contracts have been jointly negotiated.

The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. This is a union. AFTRA negotiates on behalf of performers who have paid dues to become members of their organization and/or who seek to work with advertisers and advertising agencies who have signed contracts with AFTRA allowing them to hire AFTRA performers. AFTRA bookings are at negotiated fees plus 10% Agency commission on original booking and any re-use, holding fees and residuals. LLL will adhere to all AFTRA rates and regulations where applicable.
