An agreement between two countries.
A treaty or other agreement, usually between sovereign nations, detailing their mutual understanding, policies, and obligations on a particular matter, such as trade or airline landing rights.
Agreement between two parties. In the context of the Framework, an agreement between the Commonwealth and one of the States/Territories defining the regional boundaries and identifying or establishing appropriate regional bodies responsible for developing the catchment/regional NRM plans. See Framework paragraphs 13(v), 20 and 22 first dot point.
A concurrence reached between two states.
Bilateral Agreements are entered into pursuant to paragraph 1.3.1 of the Connection and Use of System Agreement (CUSC). In relation to a User, these are: a Bilateral Connection Agreement (BCA), which is for Users with a direct connection to the GB Transmission System and includes directly connected Power Stations, directly connected Distribution Systems, Non-Embedded Customers and directly connected Interconnectors; or a Bilateral Embedded Generation Agreement (BEGA), which is for embedded Users who, nevertheless use the GB Transmission System except in cases where a BELLA has been entered into and includes embedded Power Stations (except BELLA), Small Power Station Trading Parties and Distribution Interconnector Owners; or a Bilateral Embedded Licence Exemptable Large Power Station Agreement (BELLA), which is for Embedded Exemptable Large Power stations who have no rights and obligations under Section 3 of the CUSC (Section 3 of the CUSC relates to the use of the GB Transmission System).
