Certified Financial Professionals
Certified Financial Planner. A person who has passed examinations accredited by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, showing that the person is able to manage a client's banking, estate, insurance, investment, and tax affairs.
Certified Financial Planner. Professional who has attained a high degree of technical competency in financial planning and has passed a series of professional examinations by the College of Financial Planning.

Certified FeldenkraisĀ® Practitioner
Certified Financial PlannerĀ®. Offered through the College of Financial Planning @ www.fp.edu. In order to be licensed to use the CFP trademark, an individual must meet the following qualifications, as specified by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Certified Financial Planner. An investment professional who has passed the CFP Board of Standards series of exams on subjects such as taxes, securities, insurance, and estate planning.
Certified Financial Planner. A designation granted by the CFP Board of Standards (Denver, CO) to individuals who complete a comprehensive curriculum in financial planning, pass a written examination, and have qualifying experience. This curriculum includes risk management, tax planning, employee benefits, investments, and estate planning.
Certified Financial Planner. Designation granted by the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, to a person who has passed all the required examinations. Examinations consist of questions involving insurance, investments, estate planning, tax affairs and the planner's ability to coordinate a client's income and expenses. Certified Financial Planner. Financial planner that obtains a license issued by the College of Financial Planning. The designation shows that the financial planner has had training in budgeting, taxes, savings, and insurance.

Certified Financial Planner. A professional designation conferred by the College of Financial Planning to candidates who pass examinations demonstrating a high level of competence in the analysis and development of client-oriented personal financial plans. To qualify for this designation, a person must meet both educational and work experience requirements.
Certified Financial Planner. Professional certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. To receive this credential, the planner has taken several classes and a rigorous two-day exam which only has a 54% pass rate. Knowledge of estate planning, tax preparation, insurance, and investing is required.
Certified Financial Planner. Individual who is trained to develop and implement financial plans for individuals, businesses, and organizations, utilizing knowledge of income and estate tax, investments, risk management analysis and retirement planning. CFPs are certified after completing a series of requirements that include education, experience, ethics and an exam. CFPs are not regulated by a governmental authority.
