This means to use spells to lower an enemy's crucial statistics - such as its strength, dexterity, or attack speed - thus rendering it slower, weaker, etc., and making it easier to defeat.
Remove spell effects that previously enhanced the character stats. See buff.
The post-combat removal of pre-combat preparations (See also buff).
A negative condition, or health or energy degeneration.
