Generally, employees of an employer who work for 1,000 or more hours in a 12-month period, as defined for pension plan purposes in the Employees Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). (See also: part-time employees.)
Employees under age 69 who automatically join the CAAT Pension Plan on their date of hire. Full-Time employment has no predetermined end date. Employees who generally work between 35 and 40 hours per week and receive full weekly wages and conditions for working the hours identified in the award. They receive all wages and conditions under the award. Other conditions include annual leave and long service leave.
Employees who usually work more than 35 hours per week (at all jobs within an establishment) regardless of the number of hours worked in the reference week.
refers to persons who were employees in their main job and: (for single job holders) usually work 35 hours or more a week, or usually work less than 35 hours but worked 35 hours or more in the reference week(for multiple job holders) actually worked 35 hours or more in main job in the reference week, or were away from their main job but usually worked 35 hours or more in all jobs.
