In the theater House Lights are any lighting units used to illuminate the area where the audience is. They may be built into the architecture of the space, fluorscent lights, scoops, or other Stage lights used as house lights. They are usually controlled in a number of different ways--through a non-dim wall switch, a dimmable wall switch, or through a dimmer controled throught the light board.
