Plain, weft-knitted fabric. Good for printing and, if heavy enough in weight, embroidery.
Ring-spun cotton, but much lighter-weight. Jersey knit is soft, smooth and stretchy, but not to the point of having an elastic quality. Jersey knit is great because it can be worn snug or loosely. Ladies: All the latest “graphic tees” you see at Abercrombie, Old Navy and American Eagle are all printed on Jersey Knit fabric.
A single-knit, plain-stitched fabric with a face side that is markedly different from the back side.
