a state machine whose action s are all attached to state s
a type of finite state machine where the outputs are generate as products of the states
A finite state machine in which the outputs of the machine are associated with the states. See: Mealy machine.
In the theory of computation, a Moore machine is a finite state automaton where the outputs are determined by the current state alone (and does not depend directly on the input). The state diagram for a Moore machine will include an output signal for each state. Compare with a Mealy machine, which maps transitions in the machine to outputs.
