The ratio between one coil to another, often the primary to the secondary. It is an extremely useful number because for a transformer the voltage induced on the secondary is proportional to the turns ratio. There is a similar relationship between primary current and secondary current, but the relationship is a reciprocal one.
A comparison of the number of turns in the primary versus the number of turns in the secondary. Directly related to the voltage ratio.
The ratio of the number of turns in the primary winding to the number of turns in the secondary winding of a transformer.
The ratio of the primary voltage (or turns) to the secondary voltage (or turns) in a transformer.
Ratio of the number of turns in the secondary winding of a transformer to the number of turns in the primary winding.
