The Dismemberment Plan. It was released on October 2, 1995 on De Soto Records. The band's original drummer, Steve Cummings, played on this album but left shortly after its release.

Captain of Industry, their first full-length LP. With the release of their debut album, Captain of Industry developed a strong regional following throughout Ohio, culminating in a packed to capacity performance at the 2004 Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati. Following rave reviews in the Cincinnati and Dayton press, Captain signed to Do Tell Records, an independent label with a strong catalog of artists including The Slackers, Enon, Pulley, and Skeleton Key.
