An "Album" is one set of photos/images collected in one subdirectory. Each "Album" has a separate set of parameters and can be configured through the Album Administrator. You go to the "Album" by either selecting the "Album" in the Left Navigationbar or by selecting it from the Overview over all Albums view. An "Album" can get created either with the help of the Admin Menu or from the commandline through creating a subirectory manually and copy the photos/images and all essential files into it. Typically one yappa-ng Gallery consists of many "Albums" in hierarchically tree form.

The album is a formal book that tells the story of your event (e.g., your wedding). It contains the creative arrangement of photographs that is designed and built to last forever. The two most popular album styles are Flush Mount and Matted Albums. Many studios will offer you the opportunity to view complete albums online prior to printing. Check with your photographer to see if he or she offers this service.
