Let It Be is the fifth album by Laibach. It was released in 1988. It is a cover of the Beatles' album Let It Be recorded in Laibach style with military rhythms and choirs.
"Let It Be" is a song written by Paul Mc Cartney but credited, as all songs written by either McCartney or John Lennon were during the Beatles, to Lennon/Mc Cartney. The song was first recorded by The Beatles and released as a single in March 1970 and later the same year as the title track of their acclaimed album Let It Be. It was put on spot #20 in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
