a premium online photo service that makes it simple, fun and convenient to be creative with photos
Shutterfly, Inc. is an internet company founded in 1999 by Netscape and Silicon Graphics founder James Clark. It provides a digital photo printing service to customers. In recent years, with increasing competition in the market from companies such as Snapfish (owned by Hewlett Packard) and Kodak (through their purchase of Ofoto), the margins on digital photo prints have dropped substantially, and Shutterfly has responded by offering other products, such as customized calendars and greeting cards.
