Aasi is a subtribe of major Punjabi Rajput/ Jutt clan: the Chadhars of central Punjab. Aasi people are mostly the inhabitants of districts Sargodha, Jhang, Mandi Bahauddin, and tehsil Sarai Alamgir of district Gujrat.
