Asian Bond Fund 1. The first phase of the Asian Bond Fund initiative launched by the EMEAP Central Banks in June 2003. ABF1 invests in USD-denominated bonds issued by sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers in eight EMEAP economies (PRC; Hong Kong, China; Indonesia; Korea; Malaysia; Philippines; Singapore; and Thailand).
