John Allan Stewart (born June 1, 1942), known as Allan Stewart, is a British Conservative politician. He was MP for East Renfrewshire from 1979 to 1983, and Eastwood from 1983 until he stood down in 1997. He served as a junior Scotland minister but was forced to resign in 1995 after an incident in which he was caught up in a road protest and brandished a pickaxe at demonstrators.
