Ethan (אֵיתָן "Firm", Standard Hebrew Etan or Eitan, Tiberian Hebrew ʾÊṯān) the Ezrahite, is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. It may be that Ethan was a cymbal-player in King David's court. He authored Psalm 89.
