Grundig was an American heavy metal band based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 1986 by singer Scooter Ward, drummer Sam Mc Candless, bassist Jeremy Marshall, and guitarist Matt Loughran, the band was later renamed "Cold" and signed to Geffen Records. Under the name Cold, the band has released 4 rather successful albums (Cold, 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage, Year of the Spider, and A Different Kind of Pain) and is currently disbanded.
Grundig AG is a German manufacturer of consumer electronics for home entertainment. Max Grundig established the company in Nuremberg in 1945, shortly after World War II.
