evaluated on the basis of flash point. Materials with a flash point less than 200 F is an ignitable hazardous material. The warning word(s) FLAMMABLE or COMBUSTIBLE on a material's label indicate that the material is an ignitable hazardous material. The MSDS for a material will give the flash point.
Anything that has a flash point of less than 140o F or which burns readily. Examples are paint wastes, certain degreasers and other solvents. SWM Rule 1200-1-11-.02(3) or 40 CFR ยง 261.21
