A state file generated to hold status information for later incremental links of the program. The file has the same base name as the executable file or dynamic-link library and the filename extension .ILK. The incremental status file is created the first time the Incremental Linker (LINK.EXE) runs in incremental mode. LINK updates the file during subsequent incremental builds.
