John Owen (c1564 - 1622), was a Welsh epigrammatist.

John Owen (August 24, 1854 - November 4, 1926) was the Professor of Welsh at the St David's College, as well as the dean of St Asaph. He became the Bishop of St David's in 1897.

John Owen (born August 7, 1971) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He represented Derbyshire between 1994 and 1999.
