An opaque card containing miniaturized pages photographically reproduced in a grid pattern by rows, like the numbers on a calendar. See also MICRO-OPAQUE.
Opaque, micro-photographic medium.
1. a term, trade-mark of the Microcard Corporation which refers exclusively to a 5 x 3 inch card with images arranged in a specific manner and can be either transparent or opaque. 2. An opaque card of varying size on which microcopies have been reproduced photographically. It differs from other microforms in that the prints are positive as well as being opaque and cannot be directly reproduced. See also Micro-opaque.
