The Oberhasli district is the easternmost of the 26 districts of the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. It has an area of 550 km². It encompasses the upper watershed of the Aare, including the Haslital, before it flows into Lake Brienz near Meiringen, the administrative capital.
The Oberhasli is a dairy goat from the eponymous district of the Canton of Berne (Switzerland). Oberhasli are reddish brown in color with a black dorsal stripe, legs, belly, and face. Occasionally a black Oberhasli appears as a result of recessive genes.
