In the great Hindu epic Mahabharata, Yudhisthira (Sanskrit: यà¥à¤§à¤¿à¤·à¥à¤ िर, yudhiá¹£á¹hira) was the eldest son of King Pandu and Queen Kunti, king of Hastinapura and Indraprastha, and World Emperor. He was the principal protagonist of the Kurukshetra War, and for his unblemished piety, known as Dharmaraja (Most pious one). Some sources describe him to be an adept warrior with the Spear.
