(An abbreviation for Brake Horse Power, a measurement of the power created by an engine)
Brake horsepower. A measurement standard used by manufacturers to help consumers compare engines. NOTE: BHP is measured at the maximum operating RPM of the engine, which may not be the RPM level at which your engine will provide maximum life and consistent performance.
rake orse ower. The actual amount of horsepower consumed by a pump as measured on a dynamometer.
This is the total horsepower required at the input shaft of a vacuum pump at specific pressure. BHP curves can be generated to show the input horsepower over the entire vacuum range the pump can achieve.
Brake horse power. The actual amount of horsepower being consumed by a pump as measured on a dynamometer.
Brake Horse Power - Power delivered directly by an engine. BHP is a measurement of the true power of the engine rather than a calculated power.
Brake horse power. A unit of measurement for engine power output.
ACRONYM - Break horse power ( 099)
Brake horse power. The maximum rate at which an engine can do work as measured by the resistance of an applied brake. Expressed in horsepower.
Break Horse Power. The amount of engine horsepower.
Refers to the horspower measured at an engine's flywheel.
Brake Horse Power. A measure of engine power.
brake horsepower QA5 4-wheel drive, Auto 5-speed
Boiler Horsepower; also, Brake Horsepower
Brake Horsepower. A term used to describe an engine’s ability to produce power under controlled circumstances. Commonly used with an RPM measurement to indicate conditions, such as “1.24 BHP @ 13,000 RPM.” Control Surface—A movable surface on a plane designed to change the plane’s direction. May be used alone, or in combination. See aileron, flaps, rudder, elevator.
