English for Speaker of Other Languages

Students who have a primary language other than English are part of this program when they enter into a Florida school. This program may be an inclusion program or a specific program at one of the ESOL Center schools. Students who do not pass a test for English proficiency are considered LEP (Limited English Proficiency) and must be provided with special strategies in the inclusion classroom or the center school classrooms.
