Definitions for "G-line"
One of the characteristic colors of light given off by mercury arc lamps which are used as light sources in photolithographic steppers. The G-line has a wavelength of 0.436 microns (violet color). G-line steppers were in widespread use down to about the 0.65 micron generation of semiconductor technologies, and are still used for noncritical layers (with larger dimensions) of 0.5 micron chips.
a network-wide k-line ("global k-line")
A mercury arc lamp emission line with significant intensity peak centered around 435.8 nm.
