Definitions for "Grade Point"
The numerical value given to letter grades. At UW-Platteville we are on a 4.00 system wherein an "A" has a numeric value of 4.00, a "B" has a 3.00 value, etc.
a numerical value assigned to a letter grade received in a course taken at a college or university multiplied by the number of credit hours awarded for the course
