Definitions for "Key performance indicators"
Four key performance indicators were issued by the NTA in April 2002 for drug misuse services. The Agency is using these KPIs to review the provision of services in each DAT area. The four KPIs are: waiting times, new referrals, treatment completion/planned discharge rates and unit costs.
A measurable indicator which allows comparison of the performance of one asset (resources) or group of assets.
