An ASCII file containing a description of schematic design elements and their interconnections. Netlist transfer is the most common way of moving designs from one design system or tool to another.
a complete text description of the circuit which includes the element lines , analysis statement (s), and a list of model parameters for semiconductor devices
a description of a circuit, including hierarchy, wires, and how it all connects together
a detailed interconnection listing of clusters in the target technology from which automated logic diagrams may be produced for integrated circuit fabrication
a file holding your design's connectivity information in a structured format suitable for machine processing
a file that describes a set of desired connections
a listing of all the nodes and transistors in a circuit, and the connections between them
a list of all connections on the board
a list of nets and transistors present in a layout
a list of nets for a chip
a "list of what is connected to what
an ASCII file which enlists and indicates the devices and the interconnections between them
an interconnection of elementary circuit elements connected by wires
a text description of the circuit connectivity
a text file description of a physical connection of components
A version of an electronic circuit on a CAD system consisting of all of the circuit element names/reference designators, listed with their input and output signal names, in a format similar to element nameinput signalsoutput signals. Netlists are the primary form of a circuit used for CAD simulation. Schematic versions of circuits almost always have to be compiled into netlists before simulation or manufacture is possible.
A listing of all the interconnects within a circuit.
A list to groups of two or more points in a circuit design that are electrically common.
A netlist is an text file representation of your circuit which emphasizes the connections between the different circuit elements, perhaps independently of the physical packages constituting the actual components in the circuit.
List of parts and their connection points which are connected in each net of a circuit.
Textual description of logic and interconnects. See XNF and EDIF.
A computer file that lists all of the connections needed to produce a printed circuit board. The netlist is an ASCII text file that lists the characteristics of each component and what each pin of every component connects to. Each of these connections is called a node. Netlists are produced by schematic capture programs and are sometimes used as inputs to autorouters. A portion of a netlist. Note that node N00002 is found under both the resistor and the diode; these two components thus connect together.
The word netlist can be used in several different domains, but perhaps the most popular is in the electronic design domain. In this domain, a "netlist" describes the connectivity of an electronic design.
