Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, the four color inks that, when blended, reproduce the widest range of colors.
Colors that are created by mixing halftones of the four process colors (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
yellow, magenta, cyan (blue) and black, the four colors of ink used by printers for full color reproduction of color art.
Yellow (lemon), magenta (cold red), cyan (blue-green) are the three process colors. They are so selected because when combined, they produce black, and when used in various strengths and combinations, they make it possible to reproduce thousands of different colors with a minimum of photography, platemaking, and presswork.
The three subtractive primary colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow) plus black. a.k.a., CMYK
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and black (CMYK). In printing, halftones of these 4 colors reproduce the widest range of colors with the fewest inks.
CMYK colors used for printing.
The printing of “full color” images utilizing a photographic color separation process in which each of three primary colors--cyan, magenta, and yellow, plus black--are separated from the original art and given their own printing plate.
The technique of separating artwork into four colors—cyan, magenta, yellow, and black—and then combining these colors during printing to achieve images with an unlimited color range. See also "Four-color process."
Primary printing colors of magenta, cyan, yellow and black that are printed one over another to produce different hues in a multicolor print. The inks used are transparent, exhibiting very low opacity. Requires color separations.

CMYK -- the four process colors -- cyan (process blue), magenta (process red), yellow, and black -- used to print four-color images.
The four process colors: magenta (process red), cyan (process blue), yellow, and black used to print four-color images. see also four-colour process
Cyan (blue), magenta (process red), yellow (process yellow), black (process black).
Yellow (lemon), magenta (cold red), cyan (blue-green) and black when used in various strengths and combinations in four color process printing make it possible to reproduce thousands of different colors.
The 4 printing colors made up of cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), and black (K or key), used to create all printed colors.
With the exception of spot colors, traditional presses create all color by processing colors or screening and layering four different inks on paper. The color ink mixes are known as the "process mixes". In North America, the process colors are called CMYK colors, because the inks are "Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black." With these inks, you can achieve a full range of colors, tints and gradations in art and photos. Some computer programs give you many color system choices or default to RGB and spot colors in your palette. Please make sure all your colors are set as process mixes when you finish the job (unless you mean to pay for the "fifth color" or for "spot colors").

For four-color process printing, magenta (process red), cyan (process blue), yellow and black inks are used.

The colors used for four-color or "full color" process printing: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK)
The four colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) that are combined to print color photographs and a wide range of colors. See CYMK.
Process of red, yellow and blue inks used separately or mixed.
The four process colors — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). Printing from these colors produces full-color printing.
The four primary ink colors (CMYK) used in color printing.
Black and three primary colors - magenta (red), cyan (blue), and yellow-into which full-color artwork is separated before printing.
The subtractive primaries: yellow, magenta, cyan plus black in four color printing. Also known as CMYK.
Four-color process printing includes the following colors: yellow, magenta, cyan, and black.
In printing, the subtractive primary process ink colors are cyan, magenta, yellow plus black in four color process printing.
The subtractive primary colors (Yellow, Magenta and Cyan), plus black (K), used in four-color process printing. Nearly all full color printed matter (brochures, magazines, etc.) are printed using process color.
The four colors used in process, or four-color printing. They are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Also called CMYK colors.
